Business Analyst

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Business Analyst to deliver IT solutions and revamp processes that align with business goals. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize IT systems and ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in BFSI technical projects, a keen ability to identify business needs, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of IT solutions and process improvements to meet various business objectives.
  • Participate in discovery workshops to capture user requirements, process flows, and user journeys.
  • Analyze and document requirements, making revisions to system logic, business processes, and workflows as needed.
  • Identify business needs and propose actionable steps to enhance IT system operations.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to drive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Document requirements, assess scenarios, and implement necessary changes to address evolving business needs.
  • Design test scenarios, create test scripts, and define expected results for comprehensive testing cycles.
  • Analyze test results to identify defects, ensure proper issue management, and facilitate timely resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in BFSI technical projects.
  • Proven ability to identify and define requirements using diverse scenarios, assessing real business challenges, and validating with stakeholders.
  • Capable of clearly explaining and conveying business scenarios and requirements to both technical teams and end users.
  • Expertise in business techniques for facilitating workflow changes and process enhancements.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of delivering results within tight timeframes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
